Why five tools instead of one? Because no single model dominates every task. The intelligence is in the routing — knowing which brain to engage for which problem. That routing logic is what Hypernovum makes visual.

Grok 4.5
Grok App / xAI API / Cursor
Real-time web knowledge, unfiltered creative critique, multi-agent collab, strong reasoning on live data. Fast and cheap since 8 Jul 2026 — but the context window shrank from 4.2's 2M to 500K, so it is no longer the large-document tool500K tokens$2 / $6 per Mtok ($0.50 cached)Research Backup + Loop
GPT-5.6 (Sol / Terra / Luna)
ChatGPT Pro + Codex CLI + Mac App
Full computer control, parallel Codex instances, PR generation, "does anything on your machine" — the senior agent for end-to-end builds. The 9 Jul 2026 family splits into Sol (flagship), Terra (mid) and Luna (budget); OpenAI claims Sol is ~54% more token-efficient than its predecessor on coding128k–1M+ChatGPT Pro $200/mo+Situational — Long Builds
Why Claude Code is Primary
1M context + agent teams + security scanning in one tool. Claude Code runs the longest autonomous sessions with the most coherent architectural thinking across a full codebase. The Rakuten case (12M-line autonomous refactor, 7 hours) is the clearest demonstration of what it does that nothing else reliably replicates. It's not faster — it's more trustworthy at depth.
Why Antigravity CLI as Backup Agent
When Claude Code is confident and wrong — which happens — the worst move is to keep pushing the same model. Antigravity CLI sees the codebase differently. Its ReAct-style loop catches bugs that Claude's planning layer glosses over, and the Go-based runtime is snappier for tight iterative debugging rounds. Note on the switch: at I/O 2026 Google announced that consumer Gemini CLI access stops serving requests June 18, 2026 — replaced by the new Antigravity CLI (Go-based, multi-agent, async background workflows, shared agent harness with the Antigravity 2.0 desktop app). The skills, hooks, and subagents carry over. Two surfaces, one harness: CLI when you're in the terminal, desktop app when you want the visual command surface. Enterprise Code Assist seats keep Gemini CLI for now.
📁
Claude Sonnet in claude.ai Projects — The Long-Term Memory Layer
Projects solve the biggest friction in AI-assisted workflows: context loss between sessions. Claude Sonnet in a dedicated Project maintains file-level context, remembers architectural decisions, tracks ongoing work threads, and keeps strategic planning docs within reach in every conversation. One Project per major initiative. Files live in the Project. Claude knows the history.
🔍
Gemini Pro App — The Research Workhorse
For deep research — competitive analysis, technical documentation synthesis, market intelligence — the Gemini App with Gemini 3.1 Pro is the primary tool. Massive context + native web grounding + PDF ingestion make it genuinely faster than manual research for most structured queries. The research output feeds directly into Claude Sonnet Projects for organization and synthesis.
Grok 4.5 — The In-The-Loop Reality Check
Grok's real-time web access makes it the go-to for knowledge that's moving right now: current pricing, recent tool releases, breaking API changes. It's also the most honest critique partner — Grok's "unfiltered" reputation exists for a reason, and a brutal Grok critique of a product idea is often more useful than a polished analysis. Note on 4.5 (July 8, 2026): xAI traded raw context for speed and price — the window dropped from 4.2's 2M to 500K, at $2/$6 per million tokens. For very large single-document analysis, that's a real regression; route those to Claude or Gemini instead. Backup research when Gemini returns stale results.

Model Deep Dives — Pardesco Workflow Notes

The Other Dial — Reasoning Effort

The single most common mistake we see is treating model choice as the only dial. It is not. Effort is orthogonal to model, and on current models it often matters more: Opus 5 at medium can beat a previous-generation flagship at high, for a fraction of the tokens. OpenAI ships the same idea under different names — Codex exposes Faster / Power / Smarter presets, with Power (Sol at medium reasoning) as the default. Sweep the dial on your own evals before you swap model families.

04Orchestration Layer

The Command
Center

One agent is a tool. Five agents without coordination is chaos. Orchestration is what turns a collection of powerful tools into a production system.

Self-Hosted Swarm King
OpenClaw
Local 24/7 orchestrator. Spawn unlimited sub-agents across models. Shared memory across agents and sessions — Claude Code passes context to Antigravity CLI seamlessly. WhatsApp/Telegram control. Skills marketplace for composable agent behaviors.
Open-Source Spatial Interface
Hypernovum
Turns your Obsidian vault into a living 3D cyberpunk command city. Repos as buildings. Agent activity as city traffic. Click a building → open repo. Right-click → launch agent. Visual pipeline monitoring and tandem terminals. Free and open-source on GitHub.
Dispatcher / Ops Layer
Hermes (Nous Research)
Not a coding agent — a dispatcher that sits above them. It receives a task, picks the executor (Claude Code primary, Codex as fallback here), and enforces governance gates defined in an AGENTS.md: blast-radius tiers, PR-review-as-approval, draft-only for anything touching money or customer comms. Agents edit and commit; the wrapper owns push and PR, so an agent never holds those permissions.

Where it earns its keep: unattended work you would otherwise babysit — scheduled research runs, recurring digests, cron-style jobs. Where it does not: interactive coding. Reaching for a dispatcher when you are sitting at the keyboard just adds a layer between you and the agent.

Honest caveat from running it: this studio runs Hermes in WSL2 (Ubuntu) on the main workstation — there is no separate always-on Mac mini or dedicated agent box. That is fine for research and scheduled jobs, but "scheduled" only means scheduled while the workstation is up. If you need genuinely always-on dispatch, budget for an always-on host before you build the automation on top of it.
Code-Level Orchestration
CrewAI / LangGraph
Programmatic multi-agent frameworks. Define agent roles, tools, and communication patterns in code. Best for teams who need version-controlled, auditable orchestration logic. Higher setup cost, higher long-term control.
Zero-Config Vibe → Deploy
Lovable / Bolt / v0
Pure vibe → deployed app, no orchestration config required. Lovable and Bolt.new handle full-stack from natural language. v0 for component-level React generation. The fastest path from idea to shareable URL for MVPs and prototypes.

Claude Code (Opus 5)

Claude Code receives the brief. Plans architecture, scaffolds codebase, executes autonomously. Security scanner runs inline. Agent teams for parallel subtasks.

04
Debug + Iterate
Antigravity CLI (when needed)

When Claude Code loops on a problem: switch to Antigravity CLI with fresh context. ReAct-style observation-first approach catches what planning-mode misses. Kick off async multi-agent runs in the background; review in the desktop app if a visual surface helps.

05
05
Review + Ship
Human Gate + Visual Dashboard

Human diff review at every merge gate. Tools like Hypernovum can show swarm activity, pipeline health, and approval queues visually. No auto-deploy without human sign-off.

"The pipeline isn't about which tool is smartest. It's about routing intelligence to the right problem at the right moment — and never removing the human from the final gate." — Randall Morgan, Studio Pardesco

08Risks & Outlook

Gotchas &
2027 Horizon

🌀
Agent Hallucination

Still the defining risk of every AI tool in 2026. Confident wrong answers, hallucinated dependencies, functions that don't exist. No model has solved it — the tooling has made verification faster, not unnecessary.

Verify everything before production. Claude Code Security + human review. Always.
😵
Tool Fatigue

There are 300+ AI tools claiming to be essential. The cognitive overhead of evaluating, switching, and maintaining tool context across fragmented interfaces is a real productivity drag — often worse than the productivity gains from adopting new tools.

Spatial orchestration tools help by making your whole stack navigable from one visual interface.
🔭
2027 Horizon

Real-time multimodal agents that see, hear, and act on screen simultaneously. Deeper OS integration — Claude and Gemini running at the OS level, not app level. And the release cadence itself is the story: three frontier families shipped inside three weeks in July 2026 alone. The pipeline architecture you build now will need to absorb these additions without a rewrite.

Build around principles (orchestration, verification, human gates), not specific tools. The tools will change faster than the principles.
